Senior Infants Room 4: Writing Stories

In Room 4 we all became authors, as we all wrote our own stories. We thought about the characters in the story, the setting for the story and something that was going to happen in the story before we started writing. Senior Infants: Mechanical Engineers

Does anyone know what a mechanical engineer does? The children in Senior Infants could tell you. Last week Michael and Alan visited the school to tell us all about the different things that a mechanical engineer does. They spoke to us about robots, jets, roller coasters and cars. We learnt that mechanical engineers work in lots of different places including racing tracks, factories and offices. Mechanical engineers have helped to make some of the most amazing projects in the world like the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the world’s tallest building in Dubai and the world’s fastest roller coaster in New Jersey. Thank you so much to Michael and Alan who gave a wonderful presentation. Please click here to see some more...
