The National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) has recently published the new English and Irish language curricula for Junior Infants to Second Class.

As a result of these changes, schools are asked to close for either two half days or one full day to facilitate staff training on the changes to our current curriculum.
The staff and manager of the school feel that it would be less disruptive to close for one full day instead of two half days. We will close the school on Monday, 16th May for this training.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. As we currently only have children from Junior Infants to Second Class, this training is extremely relevant and will hopefully be of great benefit to your children as they learn both languages in the school.
