Today Room 9 were investigating photographs from one hundred years ago during history. We looked at pictures of Ireland during the 1916 rising to see what the city was like during this difficult time in our country. We saw the General Post Office (GPO) where the Proclamation was read aloud, Nelson’s Pillar and Sackville Street (now known as O’Connell Street).
