Junior Infants Rooms 1, 2, 5: Junior Fire Fighters!

The Junior Infants have been learning all about their local community- the people and place where they live. They loved singing their community song; ask them what job they would like to have when they grow up!

As part of their learning, they were super lucky to have two local Fire Fighters, Alan and Carl, visit them last week, to tell them all about their jobs, and to teach them about fire safety. They gave the JI’s three simple rules to stay safe if they see or smell a fire:

  1. Get out
  2. Stay out
  3. Get the fire brigade out  (remember to call 112, or 999)

They also gave them a special Fire Safety pack to bring home to talk to their parents about, and the Infants sang them their 1o Little Fire Fighters song to say thank you!

A huge thanks again to  Carl and Alan from the Dublin Fire Brigade for coming out and training our Junior Fire Fighters 🙂 To see the CSCNS Fire Fighters all ready to go in their special protective gear please click here
