Earlier this year, the school was very honoured to be asked by the inspectorate in the Department of Education and Skills to present on an initiative we had developed in the school last year. This presentation will be of interest to teachers and principals in other primary and post-primary schools looking to improve ways that teachers interact professionally with one another.
Professional Collaborative Review is an initiative devised by the principals of Community National Schools with the support of the inspectorate. It has been a huge success in the schools it was rolled out in. I was asked to speak about the experience of teachers in Citywest & Saggart CNS at a National Conference on the topic of school self-evaluation last October. Please see below the link to my own presentation and those of the 3 other principals asked to speak about best practice in their own schools.
